Commissioning original art is, at heart, a relationship. We have shaped our process so that the collaboration feels generous and unhurried at every step.
It begins with a conversation — by email, by call, or in the Delhi studio if you can visit. We talk about the room, the wall, the light, the palette, and the feeling you want the work to hold.
From there, Anju prepares two or three small studies on paper. You choose the direction that resonates, and only then is the canvas stretched and begun.
Most commissions take six to ten weeks. You will receive periodic studio photographs and one mid-process check-in. The work is signed, varnished, framed (if you wish), and shipped fully insured.
If at any stage the painting does not feel right, you are never obligated to take it. That promise is what keeps the studio honest and the work, in the end, deeply yours.
